This is my version of the mandatory Haunted House any matte painter has in their portfolio. I tried to paint with a very limited colour palette.

There's Halloween clip art of this house all over the place, but I really like the setting you've given it.

Really? I would love to check those out, if you could send some links. I may be mistaken, but I believe this house was from some reference shots of a house in montreal... would love to see what others have done with the same.

Sure. When I have time, I'll fetch some links for you. Most of the versions I saw are basically the same piece of clip art that a lot of people have put in their holiday collections.

I'd be interested in knowing more about the real house. This is my favorite style of house.
